Regenerative Techniques
Skin Boosters
Skin Boosters
Regenerative techniques (often called “skin boosters”) using polynucleotides, exosomes, PLLA and microneedling to improve skin quality—hydration, texture, tone and firmness—by supporting your skin’s own repair pathways for subtle, progressive change.
At Dr Alluris Aesthetics, evidence-led protocols deliver personalised skin quality improvements that develop naturally over time.
Polynucleotides
Highly purified fish DNA-derived injectable skin boosters designed to support skin regeneration, helping improve hydration, elasticity, texture, blemishes, discolourations, stretch marks and skin laxity. Depending on your goals, PN can be used for facial skin quality (including delicate areas), scalp skin quality (to support the environment around hair), and body areas where texture and firmness are the priority.
What’s included
- History review for suitability and safety
- Area assessment and goal-setting (face / scalp / body)
- Customised plan (areas, session plan, and expected timeline)
- Precise injections (2–2.5 cm spacing for multiple endodermal shots to cover the whole area) and immediate review
- Aftercare guidance and follow-up
Treatment pathway
Often delivered as a staged plan; all have induction phase and maintenance phase (hair first phase has 2 stages). Results typically build gradually over weeks.
Exosomes
Exosomes (extracellular vesicles) are nano-sized “cell messaging” particles containing bioactive signals that can support skin recovery and visible rejuvenation. In clinic, they’re commonly paired with treatments that create controlled micro-channels (such as microneedling) to support tone, texture and radiance as your skin heals. Multiple sessions required for gradual results.
What’s included
- Medical screening and suitability checks
- Skin assessment and goal-setting (texture, tone, downtime, events)
- Plan for delivery method (standalone vs combined approach) and session timing
- Aftercare guidance and follow-up
Treatment pathway
- Can be combined with other regenerative techniques for a tailored protocol
PLLA
Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) is a collagen-stimulating biostimulator designed for gradual improvement in firmness and structure. Unlike HA fillers that create immediate volume, PLLA works progressively—results develop over time, making it a strong option for patients who prefer subtle, longer-term change in a deeper layer.
What’s included
- History review for suitability and safety
- Facial assessment and goal-setting (areas, degree of correction, timeline)
- Customised plan (session number, spacing, and expected progression)
- Treatment and immediate review
- Aftercare guidance and follow-up
Treatment pathway
- Typically planned as a course with spacing between sessions to allow collagen build-up
MicroNeedling
Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries that trigger a skin repair response linked with collagen remodelling and texture improvement. It can be performed alone or paired with advanced topical agents (such as growth factor complexes) to support recovery and enhance overall skin quality goals such as glow, pores, fine lines and scarring.
What’s included
- Medical screening and suitability checks
- Skin assessment and goal-setting (texture, pores, scars, pigmentation, downtime)
- Plan for microneedling depth + whether to add topical agents
- Aftercare guidance and follow-up
Treatment pathway
- Often performed as a course; improvements can continue as collagen remodelling progresses
