## Your questions
How long does filler last?
Between about 9 and 18 months, depending on the area, the product and your body. Lips tend to be shorter; cheeks, chin and jawline longer.
Does it hurt?
Most fillers contain a local anaesthetic, and I can apply numbing cream first. Most clients describe pressure rather than pain.
What about swelling and bruising?
Some swelling, tenderness or small bruises are common for a few days. The result is visible straight away and settles over about two weeks.
Can filler be reversed?
Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved if it ever needs to be. Knowing the anatomy well is still the best way to avoid needing that.
