Polynucleotide skin boosters are regenerative injectables designed to improve skin quality—hydration, elasticity, texture, and luminosity—by supporting your skin’s own repair processes rather than adding volume.​

At Dr Alluris Aesthetics we use high‑quality, CE‑marked products such as Plinest and keep the approach doctor‑led and anatomy‑first, aiming for natural-looking improvement that builds gradually rather than overnight.

For best results, polynucleotides are typically planned as an induction course (a short series of sessions close together) followed by maintenance sessions at longer intervals to help sustain the skin-quality gains over time.

Your questions

What are polynucleotides?
Purified DNA fragments, often derived from salmon, which is why you may hear them called salmon DNA treatment. I use CE marked products such as Plinest and Nucleofill. They support your skin's own repair rather than adding volume.

How many sessions will I need?
A standard course is three to six sessions, two to three weeks apart, then maintenance sessions every six to 9 months. I adjust this at consultation to how your skin responds.

When will I see results?
Hydration and texture usually improve from around three to four weeks after the first session. The full result shows about 12 weeks after the last session.

Is there downtime?
Small bumps at the injection points usually settle within a day or two. Under eye treatment can leave mild swelling for one more day.
